Redsfest Day 2

It's now Day 2 of Redsfest. It's always a great experience....second only to Opening Day. Awesome time for not only Reds fans, but fans of baseball. Too many things to do for me to possibly mention.

One of the bigger things is always the chance to meet and get autographs from your favorite players. And I got to do just that this year. My third time meeting him I got an autograph fro. my all-time favorite player, Barry Larkin!

The whole thing is really a terrific celebration of Baseball and does something we rarely get to do...shows fans the players as people. As many people often forget that, it is nice. A wonderful experience.

Redsfest Blog 1

It's one of the most exciting days of the year. We have Opening Day (basically my Christmas) and now it is time for Redsfest...my New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. For the next two days I get to participate in a two-day celebration of baseball in Cincinnati.

This is my, I believe, fourth Redsfest. I started looking forward to this in July (when it was obvious the Reds would be going nowhere). It should be an awesome time. I am 3rd in line, behind my friend Bob and his son.

If I get a chance, I may post a few mini-updates. May not. It will all depend on how things go.

I just thought today, the start of the 2010 baseball season, was a good day to start the blog.
